What a Gruper TPE mat is made to do
All four mats on this page are thermoplastic elastomer, the firm, springy foam most of our buyers start on. Each one is textured on both sides, so the underside holds a wood or tile floor and the top holds your palms when they get damp. At 6 mm your feet sit close enough to the floor to feel it in a balance pose, and the 8 mm option adds a little give for kneeling.
They differ in width and in what is printed on top. The two-tone and wave-back mats are 24 inches across, while the alignment and mandala mats are 32 inches, with marks for where your hands and feet go. Every one comes with a carrying strap and a storage bag, and every one wants the same care: a damp cloth, cold water, dry it flat, and keep it out of long hours of sun.
