What a pair of Gruper blocks is for
A block brings the floor up to your hands. In a forward fold or a low lunge where your fingertips stop short of the mat, a block under each hand lets you keep your back long instead of rounding it. Turned on its side it is 6 inches tall, on its end 9.
Ours are high-density EVA foam, closed-cell so sweat stays on the surface, and at 0.44 lb each the pair weighs less than a pound. They come two to a pack, in a choice of colors. A little mild detergent on a cloth cleans them, and they dry in the air.
